I should have done this sooner, but here I am.
It's been just over a year since I acquired my first German Shorthaired Pointer and oh, how my life has changed! The year has been full of so many "firsts," from my first time seeing a dog on point, my first time shooting a shotgun, my first time dragging a dead duck on a leash, and other interesting adventures. If you would have asked me just over a year ago where I expected my life to be at this point, this isn't anything I would have guessed. But here I am and I wouldn't change a thing. This has been such a fun journey, I am disappointed I haven't documented more of it (besides my causal Instagram or Facebook posts). Watching Blitz grow up has been a really wonderful experience, but also a huge learning opportunity for me. I have learned so much about a variety of topics, I hope this blog gives me the opportunity to share what I learn, share my experiences and of course, share photos of the cutest GSP!
